Food Pyramid

Here we are making a food pyramid with Rachel! We have been talking about how we need to eat the most foods from the bottom and the least foods from the top.

Hi iBots! Flo tells me the easiest foods to find to put on the pyramid were treat foods. Shops can be a bit sneaky trying to get us to buy lots of treats!

Our family uses a Power Plate to plan our food, instead of a food pyramid. We divide our plate into quarters, one for fruit, one for veges, one for beans, nuts and seeds and one for grains. We also like to eat five colours of fruit and veges every day, especially aiming to eat greens, onions, mushrooms, beans, berries and seeds for health. Some of us aren't too keen on mushrooms though so we have to hide them!

Well done for your wonderful food pyramid. It is great to see you are learning about the good and the not so good foods.
